Temple Israel Sisterhood – Stronger Together

For over 75 years, the Sisterhood of Temple Israel has been the heart of our congregation—supporting our synagogue, our members, and our wider community through acts of service, spirituality, and connection.

We help prepare for holidays, support lifecycle events, organize social action initiatives, and care for those in need. Whether it’s hosting Oneg Shabbats, decorating the Sukkah, preparing meals, delivering Shabbat baskets, or tending to our beautiful Judaica Shop—Sisterhood is always there: quietly, joyfully, meaningfully.

Our impact extends beyond our walls. Through donations, outreach, and partnerships with local organizations and national causes, we give back generously. As proud members of Women of Reform Judaism, we are part of a powerful global network of women making a difference.

Whether you are 25 or 95, working or retired, a parent or not—there’s a place for you here. Join our monthly programs, lend a hand at events, or simply show your support. However you choose to be involved, you will be welcomed by a diverse, compassionate, and dynamic group of women.

New to Temple Israel? Your first year of Sisterhood membership is complimentary.

Come be part of something meaningful. Come be part of Sisterhood.
